AWS Marketplace has a new entry today, as Armor Anywhere, a new cloud security solution has landed on the cloud repository. Complete with new logging feature and consumption-based pricing.
It enables immediate protection for cloud workloads, enhancing cloud native security controls in the process.
Armor, an Amazon Web Services Advanced Technology Partner, announced the availability of its Armor Anywhere solution in the AWS Marketplace, claiming that this new arrival is ideal for the rapid delivery of strengthened security controls to workloads in the public cloud.
Founder and CEO Chris Drake, Armor:
“The market for cloud-based security services is expected to total close to $9 billion by 2020. To us, this signals an increased dependence on cloud offerings and demand for additional security controls. There now lies a unique opportunity to accelerate the delivery of additional security features to cloud, and AWS customers now have the ability to further increase the breadth of their security controls and prevent downtime with simple and immediate deployment of Armor Anywhere.”
Armor Anywhere is powered by Spartan, which is one of the industry’s leading threat prevention and response platforms for private, hybrid and public cloud environments.
It now features enhanced log management services that consume, consolidate, and correlates data from any device, in order to provide actionable insights to eliminate threats.
In addition to that, Armor now offers consumption-based pricing. This ensures that clients can pay as they go with a new pricing model that no longer charges for unused services, resulting in increased cost optimization and maximum flexibility on the cloud.
