The AWS Direct Connect service is going places! This time the action is happening in in Malaysia, as AIMS Group has confirmed the launch of a private network connection to support the Amazon cloud.
The company has just announced that it will offer the Amazon Web Services Direct Connect facility for customers in the country, and allow them to establish a dedicated network connection to the AWS cloud from on-premise datacenters, offices or colocation environment.
In turn, allowing these organizations to reduce network costs and increase bandwidth throughput, while also providing a more consistent network experience.
AIMS Group CEO Chiew Kok Hin:

He further added that with this newest development, local businesses would now be able to run both a public and private environment, and ensure that they are able to separate resources where necessary, with configurations also possible via virtual interfaces.
And this, in turn, will allow AIMS customers the ability to respond to any changing needs.
