AWS Service Catalog Now Integrates With BMC Digital Workplace

BMC has just announced that it is simplifying access to cloud services, thanks to the integration of its BMC Digital Workplace with the AWS Service Catalog.

This collaboration is the result of the efforts to help organizations migrate to the cloud.

And the company is now demonstrating this new integrated service catalog on stage at the AWS Sales Kickoff 2018, meaning interested users can find out more details on how this integration works, and how it can help their organizations.

In case you’re unaware, BMC is a global leader in IT solutions, and a mainstay in the Amazon Web Services world.

The BMC Digital Workplace Solution is designed to ease the move of enterprise workloads to the Amazon cloud faster, and in a secure, low-risk, and cost-effective way. It serves as a single interface for customers to provision AWS.

As revealed (PDF file) by BMC, the average company has more than 20 catalogs for IT and business services, and this typically results in an inefficient process that requires employees to separately search, select, and provision services from each catalog.

The BMC Digital Workplace services provides a consumer-like experience by aggregating and managing apps and services across the enterprise in a centralized solution.

And now, by integrating AWS Service Catalog with the BMC Digital Workplace, companies have the option of reducing catalog sprawl to improve workforce agility and employee productivity through integrated self-service.
