AI in the news again. Haptik, an artificial intelligence based chatbot platform, has announced that it has partnered with cloud leader AWS to offer solutions to customers in India.
This collaboration with Amazon Web Services would enable companies to leverage conversational chatbots to automate processes across customer support, lead generation, and sales funnel management.
Recent developments in chatbots allow for highly engaging and conversational experiences, through voice and text.
And these can be further customized to be used on mobile devices, web browsers, and even popular chat platforms like Facebook Messenger or Slack.
Haptik, now part of the Amazon Partner Network program, plans on delivering greater functionality and richer choice to customers by using the power of the cloud platform on offer via scalable GPU instances, as well as services like Amazon Polly.
Aakrit Vaish, founder and CEO of the company based in Mumbai:
“In cooperation with AWS, Haptik aims to rapidly expand in the Indian chatbot AI market. AWS is synonymous with providing the best-in-class products to build any type of software. AWS has invested deeply in AI for more than 20 years, and given we already work with many of their services, it was a natural next step for us to come together to offer an end-to-end solution.”
Amazon Polly is, of course, the remarkably accurate text-to-speech service that makes use of advanced deep learning technologies to synthesize speech that sounds like a human voice.
This extended collaboration aims to enable seamless integration between Haptik chatbots and the remarkably powerful AI portfolio available on the Amazon cloud.
